Stop Circus Suffering

Speak out when the circus comes to town!

When a circus with animals comes to your home town, please take action to highlight the suffering

  • Have an information stall in your town centre. ADI can provide you with materials and loan you (free) a ‘Stop Circus Suffering’ banner for the table.
  • Take part in a demo. ADI can help organise this with you. We can put you in touch with other supporters in your area and provide you with all the materials you will need.
  • Write to your local paper to let readers know why you don’t want to see animals in circuses where you live.
  • Go wild! Hold a leafleting session in your town with your friends and family dressed up as animals, with a ringmaster or ringmistress. ADI can contact your local media and help you organise a photo call to raise awareness that the circus is coming and why people should boycott the show.

This is disgusting that such cruelty to such beautiful animals still goes on – stop it now! The people that does this are disgusting – put them in a cage and throw away the key!

I don’t know how much animals are still a part of our local circuses in Dublin. Any info on this subject is welcome.

I will do everything I can to stop all animals circuses from exploiting the poor creatures that do not have a voice.

My son of 16 years tried to take a photo of animals in cages at a circus in St Gaudens France, he was then cased by the owners in a car and threatened. He had to take refuge at the supermarket security. He was extremely shaken up. The police did nothing and said to keep clear of them. We would like to make protest but at what cost to our family.
