Stop Circus Suffering

Work begins to bring in a circus ban in Mexico

Since the introduction of a bill to ban the use of wild animals in circuses in Mexico last month, ADI Latinamerica has been cranking up our Stop Circus Suffering campaign!

Mexico has a huge circus industry and a ban would positively impact the lives of hundreds of animals. In order for the bill to become law, it will need to pass two debates in both the House of Representatives and the Senate. ADI’s Eduardo Pena recently met with deputies from the political parties to secure support for the ban and also participated in a televised “For a circus without animals” forum at the Congress during which our “Unnatural Acts” film was screened.
