The Arkansas National Guard has reportedly canceled circus events at state armories, in response to calls from local advocate.

The Arkansas National Guard has reportedly canceled circus events at state armories, in response to calls from local advocate Ruth Scroggin. Arkansas National Guard spokesperson Major Will Phillips said “We want to be good community partners. Earlier this week, a Carson & Barnes elephant transporter stalled in Oklahoma, leaving elephants on the side of the road, holding up traffic.
