New Jersey Senator Lesniak has announced the plan to expand Nosey’s Law (the elephant-only ban) in the Assembly (sponsored by Asm. Raj Mukherji) to include a ban on ALL wild and exotic animal acts.
Sen. Lesniak has been a great friend to animals, willing to look at protection for all wild/exotic animals when we first met in 2014. Asm. Raj Mukherji was open to the idea and appreciated ADI’s evidence that all animals suffer – and pose a safety risk – in traveling shows.
