Stop Circus Suffering

Three Operation Liberty tigers are home!

Max, Simba, and Kimba spent their first Thanksgiving in their new forever home at Big Cat Rescue in Florida!

On Monday, November 25, the first three animals to be relocated out of Guatemala as part of ADI’s Operation Liberty flew to Miami and then traveled to Big Cat Rescue in Tampa, where they will spend the rest of their lives. The sanctuary is providing financial support for the three tigers.

As of November 2019, just one circus is defying the law. ADI HOPES TO RESCUE EVERY ANIMAL. The Guatemalan wildlife department (CONAP) is working through the court to seize the remaining animals, but we don’t know how long this will take.

In the meantime, we are working to relocate the remaining 17 lions and tigers already rescued as part of Operation Liberty to the new ADI Wildlife Sanctuary in South Africa.

Rain forest animals who love messing about with water. Their liberty from slavery in a circus is a sign of our growing civilisation and understanding of the intelligence and sentience of animals as individuals at all levels. They all love to be loved.
