Demonstrations against Great European Circus
Our Irish partners ARAN have started the year with lively and peaceful demonstrations in Waterford and Galway as part of Stop Circus Suffering in Ireland.
The Great European Circus has many animals in their acts, including kangaroos, dogs, camels, horses and zebras. ARAN’s demonstration informed the public and visitors to the circus of how animals continue to be exploited in cruel and demaning ways.
ARAN have also been visiting schools to educate the next generation of animal defenders about circus suffering. They were met with a warm reception from Wesley College, Dublin, when they visited in February and screened ADI’s Stop Circus Suffering Ireland video.
