Animal circus ban confirmed
An animal circus ban has been confirmed in Ellesmere Port, near Liverpool in Cheshire.
Borough councilors have unanimously endorsed the policy that circuses with performing animals would not be allowed to take place on council-owned land.
All councilors agreed that the policy was a valuable one aimed at protecting both animals and the public.
