Stop Circus Suffering is a major campaign by Animal Defenders International to end the suffering of animals in circuses. Built on the hard-hitting evidence of our undercover investigations, ADI runs awareness campaigns; lobbies governments and municipalities; and works with partner groups. The campaign has seen many successes including the closure of circuses, rescue of animals, and local and national bans – to date, almost 50 countries have taken measures to prohibit animal circuses.

It’s time for the United States to take action and this t-shirt was designed so you can show your support at protests, in your community, and when meeting with your legislators.

The Traveling Exotic Animal and Public Safety Protection Act (TEAPSPA), championed by ADI and soon to be reintroduced in Congress by Representatives Raúl Grijalva (D-AZ) and David Schweikert (R-AZ), would amend the Animal Welfare Act to prohibit the use of exotic and wild animals in traveling performances. A companion bill is also expected to be introduced in the Senate by Senator Bob Menéndez (D-NJ).

Contact your Senators and Representative today and urge them to support TEAPSPA, by signing on as a co-sponsor. Request a meeting with them in their district office, bring an ADI lobby pack and wear your Stop Circus Suffering t-shirt!  Constituent voices are very powerful and can open doors to the most surprising places.

Support TEAPSPA to help end to wild animal suffering in traveling acts across the US.

Hi, I’m a little itty artist from Launceston, Tasmania. I came across a story on circus animals when doing an art assignment. The piece I produced is now a limited edition series. I’m just writing to say I’m going to make a donation of ten dollars from every print sold (out of a series of 10 prints). To show support for stop circus suffering. I’ve sold my first print so I’m making my first donation today. Very worthy cause!
