Northampton, MA bans the use of wild and exotic animals in traveling shows and circuses!

GREAT NEWS: Northampton is the fourteenth Massachusetts town to prohibit the use of wild and exotic animals in traveling shows and circuses! Sponsored by Councilor Jim Nash and Councilor Karen Foster, the ordinance passed unanimously (9-0).
IT IS TIME FOR STATE ACTION!
The Massachusetts state bills to ban the use of elephants, big cats, primates, giraffe, and bears in traveling exhibits and shows, did not pass before the end of this session.
