New York circus bill runs out of time!
In late June, 2019, New York looked set to become the third US state to pass a ban on wild animal acts, but sadly it wasn’t to be – this time.
Despite passing the Senate earlier in June, the companion bill ran out of time in the Assembly. We hope the bills will be reintroduced early next year.
In the meantime, you can help stop circus suffering TODAY by organizing a peaceful protest when a circus with animals comes to town (drop us a line at usa@ad-international.org for help doing so) and asking your legislators to support the Traveling Exotic Animal and Public Safety Protection Act (TEAPSPA, HR 2863) to ban wild animal circus acts ACROSS AMERICA: bit.ly/SupportTEAPSPA
