Pittsfield, MA becomes the 9th Massachusetts community to ban wild animal acts!
Earlier we asked YOU to encourage Pittsfield City Council to ban cruel and dangerous traveling wild animal acts. We’re pleased to announce that the council has voted YES, becoming the 9th Massachusetts community to ban wild animal acts! ADI provided evidence to the mayor and city councilors ahead of the 8-3 decision, and worked closely with local advocates Berkshire Voters for Animals. This is great news for Pittsfield, and all those working to protect animals and the public in the community.
