Support elephant performance ban in New York state
If you live in NY, support these important bills, as well as TEAPA and help eradicate circus suffering for ALL animals throughout the US
A bill to ban elephant performances in New York has secured unanimous passage through the state senate! Senator Terrence Murphy’s Elephant Protection Act will go to the Agriculture Committee, where Assemblyperson Paulin’s A1405 bill seeking to prohibit all wild animals in traveling circuses is also under consideration (our favoured bill). Murphy’s bill states elephants “suffer physical and psychological harm”, are “trained with cruel techniques,” forced to live in unnatural conditions, and perform “stressful or harmful” tricks – as is the case with ALL animals used in traveling performances.
If you live in NY, support these important bills
Support TEAPA too and help eradicate circus suffering for ALL animals throughout the US
Stop the mistreatment if these innocent animals
They have as much of a right to a peaceful, happy life as any other creature on this planet. They ARE NOT ours to exploit.
