Stop Circus Suffering

Zebras escape circus in Oakland

Take action for UniverSoul’s circus animals now!

Two zebras escaped from UniverSoul Circus in March 2016, running through traffic in Oakland, California. Zebras escaped the same circus in West Philadelphia in November 2015, running amok for 45 minutes.

Wild animals don’t belong in circuses in city centers. ADI previously urged Oakland Council to ban all wild animals in circuses due to the inherent cruelty and public safety risks. UniverSoul tigers have reportedly escaped twice before. It’s foolish to expect severely stressed, abused animals will never lash out or try to escape.

Take action for UniverSoul’s circus animals now!

Contact Oakland Mayor and City Council. Remind them of the dangerous incident where zebras were running through Oakland traffic and politely ask them to consider an ordinance that will ban all wild animals from traveling circuses.

UniverSoul Circus’s next stop is Carson, California. Contact Carson Mayor and Council and let them know of the recent zebra escape and urge them to cancel the wild animals from these upcoming performances for the protection of the public and the animals.

Do not blame the animal when someone gets hurt!! The greedy and ignorant are to blame.

Please ban the use of wild animals in US circuses. Animals, wild animals in particular, are not made for men’s entertainment or amusement. Please help leave and put them back where they belong or release them to an appropriate wildlife sanctuary, where they can enjoy the rest of their lives in peace. Thank you.

The poor animals must have been terrified. It’s high time there was a ban put on animals being used in circuses. Circuses are for children why let them believe it’s right to exploit beautiful creatures.
