ADI unveils the Traveling Exotic Animal Protection Act, H.R. 3359

Today on Capitol Hill, Bob Barker and Jorja Fox will join Animal Defenders International, the Performing Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) and members of Congress to launch a Bill that would end the use of wild animals in circuses in the USA.

After four years in a zoo in Poland, Rhanee, the elephant that caught the heart of the nation during the cruelty trial of Mary Chipperfield, Roger Cawley and elephant keeper Michael (Steve) Gills, has passed away.

Government have been accused of misleading the public once again today, with the claim that the Austrian court proceedings are active, but have been delayed.

In the fight to rescue Annie the elephant, ADI representatives, Brian Blessed and politicians representing the main political parties took their ‘Stop Circus Suffering’ campaign directly to 10 Downing Street today.
