‘The 100-year-old man who climbed out the window and disappeared’ is now heading to the UK and Ireland.

ADI and Code Animal have condemned ‘The 100-year-old man who climbed out the window and disappeared’ for its use of an abused circus elephant. The film is directed by Felix Herngren and opens in cinemas across France on 28th May.

The Hundred-Year-Old Man is a movie directed by Felix Herngren which bills itself as a comedy, however there is absolutely nothing funny about the shocking abuse of poor Vana Mana, the elephant whose use in the movie has been condemned by ADI and PETA ahead of its release in Germany on March 20th 2014.

Cirkus Scott announced today that they will no longer feature wild animal acts after 76 years of doing so.

ADI has expressed its disappointment that a number of big cats are to be subjected to a lifetime of circus suffering, following reports by the BBC that tigers bred in the UK by Martin Lacey, the owner of the infamous Great British Circus, will be sent to his sons’ circus in Germany.
