ADI and PETA criticise film for using abused circus elephant
The Hundred-Year-Old Man is a movie directed by Felix Herngren which bills itself as a comedy, however there is absolutely nothing funny about the shocking abuse of poor Vana Mana, the elephant whose use in the movie has been condemned by ADI and PETA ahead of its release in Germany on March 20th 2014.
Great British Circus cruelty heads to Germany
ADI has expressed its disappointment that a number of big cats are to be subjected to a lifetime of circus suffering, following reports by the BBC that tigers bred in the UK by Martin Lacey, the owner of the infamous Great British Circus, will be sent to his sons’ circus in Germany.
